Part-time Warehouse Person (Fresno)

We are seeking candidates for a regular, part-time position in our Fresno warehouse at Charles McMurray Co.

We need someone who is hard-working, reliable, organized and has the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Individuals must have a team spirit; and be self-disciplined. Must have flexibility in start time and are willing to work consistently, with good attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Support Charles McMurray Co's Mission of “Creating the most convenient place for our customers to do business”
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to company standards.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wear and use proper safety equipment.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Good communication, organizational, time management skills.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Adhere to Charles McMurray Company standards and values.
Compensation:
- $18.00 / hour
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 70 lbs.
- Ability to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Hours:
- Monday through Friday.
- Ability to work 29 hours per week.
- Week 1: Monday start @10:30a, Tuesday to Thursday start @ 1:00p, Friday Off
- Week 2: Monday start @1:30p, Tuesday to Friday start @1:00p

Accounts Receivable Specialist (Fresno)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the revenue cycle and ensuring timely payment from customers. This is a vital role within our organization, as it directly impacts our cash flow as well as supports the company's mission of "creating the most effective place for our customers to do business" through a focus on customer satisfaction while applying our financial policies. Responsibilities:
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, ACH, check, and credit card transactions.
- Performs daily cash management duties to include the reconciliation of cash on hand, remote bank deposit, and distribution of cash receipt logs.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting customers.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectable amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Investigates and resolves account discrepancies by obtaining information from internal departments and customers.
- Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions with customers.
- Ensures orders are released to the warehouse in a timely manner by actively monitoring the credit queue in the WMS and resolving pending credit actions.
- Reviews the previous days invoices that did not clear the queue to determine if they shipped and require invoicing.
- Monitors, validates and reconciles various business reports.
- Reviews, finalizes and processes customer credit memos.
- Leads the Accounting phone queue to assist customers on accounting related matters.
- Creates, maintains and updates customer files.
- Support and back-up Credit Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required with college courses in accounting or related degree highly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.
- Proficient typing (50wpm) and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to quickly learn and leverage ERP system and other technology. 10 key by touch.
- Aptitude for mathematics with the application of financial expertise.
- Self-disciplined with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills: strong time management, efficiency and accountability.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality.
Compensation:
- $22.00-$30.00 / hour. Competitive starting pay dependent upon candidate's unique set of qualifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to do the essential functions of office position. This includes bending, stooping, kneeling and repetitive functions related to standard office - desk role.
Hours:
- Must be available between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM Monday-Friday.
